An endeavor like this comes with some costs attached, so Randall is seeking sponsors for The Figure 8 Voyage to help make this journey come alive.

Each sponsorship level below outlines what is included in the package, but we are open to your ideas and inspirations.

Explorer – our marquee sponsorship level

• Home page logo placement and recognition on all materials as marquee sponsor

• Recognition in all materials

• Content reproduction rights – blog entries, video content etc.

• Five Keynote speeches

• Charitable auction sponsorship participation*

Funds from this sponsorship package will be used to purchase and outfit the boat that will be used on the voyage. At the end of the passage the boat will be auctioned* and the proceeds will be donated to a mutually agreeable charity.

Adventurer – our technical sponsorship level

• Logo placement and recognition as the technical sponsor

• Links on blog pages & video uploads

• Content reproduction rights – blog entries, video content etc.

• Audible sponsorship recognition in podcasts

• Two Keynote speeches

Funds from this sponsorship package will be used to purchase the technical equipment that keeps Randall safe. Potential opportunity for charitable participation. This includes items such as:

• Navigational equipment

• Emergency communications devices – e.g. EPIRB, SPOT

• Water maker

• Life raft

Navigator — our media sponsorship level

• Logo placement and recognition as our media sponsor

• Links on blog pages & video uploads

• Content reproduction rights – blog entries, video content, etc.

• Partnership on media strategy

• One Keynote Speech

Funds from this sponsorship package will be used to maintain all media communication before and during the voyage. This includes items like:

• Website design and maintenance

• Satellite phone & other electronic communications devices

• Video streaming platform & support

Watch Keeper – Individual Sponsorship

There are also opportunities for individuals to help fund this voyage. Everything Randall requires must be on board when he departs. Not just the basics–food, warm clothing, spare parts and emergency gear–but also the smaller necessities. For example, Randall estimates he’ll need about 100 rolls of toilet paper and 12 tubes of toothpaste plus brushes.
