From Port Angeles:
During the recent passage from Kodiak to Cape Flattery, several friends asked for the ability to see my position on a chart, this rather than having to imagine where in the bloody blue yonder I might be based on the text formated Lat/Long in my daily posts.
To address this I’ve added, both here and on Facebook, a GPS tracking widget supported by Predictwind.
This widget creates its track representation from Iridium GO! position and speed data and will be current to within about an hour, assuming I remember to leave the thing on.
See below image for two ways to get to the Predictwind chart, or click here
On Facebook the link is under the “Where’s Randall?” tab.
Congratulations Randall on breaking free!

Howard, you are having a great adventure, making lot’s of men envious, like seeing your progress thanks to your mom….Jerry O. Joshua springs MHP
Hey Jerry. Thanks for following along. In fact, I’ve not met a lot of men who are jealous once they know the facts: poor sleep, rough company, no showers for a month. The view is good, though. Send my best to Mom, if you will. She’s always playing cards at the clubhouse when I call.
